The Hannibal Arts Council Galleries are active, viable gallery spaces hosting monthly exhibits featuring two-and three-dimensional works by regional artists of all ages. Thee are two galleries: The Helen Cruikshank Knighton Gallery is downstairs, and Gallery g2 is upstairs. Visitors to the galleries represent a cross section of the community and region, as do the artists represented. In order to serve the widest possible artistic and community cultural interests, all exhibits are oriented toward positive, life-affirming, humane values that will expand and enrich the experience of artists and audiences of all ages and varied backgrounds. Artistic pluralism and cultural diversity are important factors in the selection of a range of activities and artworks promoted, sponsored, and supported by the Council to engage, demonstrate, and elevate a variety of perspectives and viewpoints. We are proud to be able to provide the venue for these exciting aspects of visual art programming in the area.
